Renovation work on the sports area in Parque de Poniente in Villanueva de la Cañada, Madrid
Expansion of the sports area of Parque de Poniente in Villanueva de la Cañada with the construction of a new skate park and the improvement of the current facilities.
The new sports equipment is intended to be more visible and to attract more skaters.
The following noteworthy work was carried out:
• Paving of the new skating surfaces with polished concrete.
• Paving of the accesses to the skate area in ceramic paving stones.
• Installation of new street furniture with litter bins, benches, fountain, etc.
• Lighting with 10 m high poles and directional spotlights.
• Planting of shrub species in areas around the perimeter of the skating area and planting of flower beds in mounds located inside the skating area.
• Installation of a drip irrigation network.
• Installation of a sewerage network.

Refurbishment and structure
· 462 m² removal of metal fence.
· 9 m³ demolition of brick wall.
· 58 m²demolition of concrete slab.
·714 m³ of gravel aggregate for the base and elevated elements.

· Six tube benches.

· 100 m² of flower beds and 35 m³ of mulch.
· 2,118 planting of various shrub species.
· 5,250 ml of drip irrigation pipe.
· 14 plastic inspection chambers and 20 brickwork inspection chambers.
· 95 ml of DN200 PVC pipe and 48 ml of DN250 PVC pipe.
· Two manholes and seven brickwork catch basins.
