The works include comprehensive renovation of the sewerage infrastructure and systems plus new paving.

The sewerage network is a historic container running underneath the housing units and has to be replaced by a separate network. The new system consists of a GFRP collector for sewerage between 1200 and 1600 mm in diameter and a PVC collector for stormwater, 630 mm in diameter and 1000 mm in cross section in GFRP.

Forma

Both networks converge in a connector box that joins up with the existing network downstream from where there is an open shield jacking system consisting of a reinforced concrete pipe with a diameter of 1000 mm for stormwater discharge.

The low and medium voltage and telecommunications systems and other municipal services such as lighting, traffic lights, etc. have also been renewed. The pedestrian areas are paved with prefabricated slabs featuring a honed finish and the roadway with Naturasfalt hot bituminous mix with a polished surface treatment.
