Development of a children’s play area near the Pau Casals school in Sabadell, Barcelona

Near the Pau Casals school in Sabadell there is a piece of unused land containing natural vegetation. The upper part is wooded and the lower part has shrub vegetation that delimits the area and serves as a natural fence.  The site is used to create a completely new children’s playground for enjoying both nature and games.
Located between Carrer Mauritània and Via Aurèlia in the municipality of Sabadell, this plot of 2,050 m² is divided into two areas:

• Wooded area with seven interrelated play elements.
• Sandbox area with two sandboxes at different levels. There is a sitting area and three play elements in each.
