The new teaching building consists of four classrooms for lower secondary education, two learning support classrooms, a workshop, a laboratory, a staff room and toilets. A total of 486.89 m2 of floor space has been built.

The tender included drafting the technical design and constructing the building. This fostered continuous cooperation between the architectural firm and the builder from the outset.

Geometrically, the building has a simple spatial design consisting of a rectangular

section on the ground floor with a flat roof. The useable areas are placed along the façade and there is a higher central corridor that separates these areas and helps with ventilation and lighting.

The building’s structural system consists of a load-bearing concrete frame with precast concrete column and girder porticoes combined with a horizontal timber beam structure.

The retaining elements and floor slabs are made of in-situ concrete.
