The IFEMA Madrid consortium has two facilities for holding events in the Spanish capital: the Municipal Conference Centre and the Trade Fair Centre.
IFEMA Municipal Conference Centre covers over 30,000 m2 and is made up of three large blocks featuring halls, auditoriums and exhibition venues. Meanwhile, the Trade Fair Centre has 200,000 m2 spread over 13 halls, 85 rooms, 2 convention centres and outdoor areas.
This contract covers integrated maintenance of the Municipal Conference Centre's facilities without disrupting its normal operations. Indeed, a crucial part of the service consists of technical support for events before, during and after they take place.
All preventive, corrective, conductive and incident maintenance operations plus other actions are managed, run and updated through CMMS software. A BMS is used to control HVAC equipment which helps to automate and streamline energy usage.
Technical support and maintenance work is also performed on the low-voltage electrical systems and public lighting at the Trade Fair Centre.
