14-storey residential complex with 62 dwellings for residential use in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona
Construction of a 14-storey tower for residential use in the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona. The project consists of 62 homes with storage rooms and parking spaces, as well as commercial premises.
Grouped in a single volume, the properties have been developed as a tower with a ground floor plus 14 floors (ground floor + 14 + technical floor on the roof). The architectural design proposes a setback in the facade to create much larger terraces on the eighth floor. In addition, this setback in height allows for five flats per landing with two and three bedrooms on the lower floors.
The construction of a communal space with a swimming pool and solarium in one of the corners of the 14th floor is also noteworthy. The building has three basement levels for vehicle parking.
The free space that is not occupied by the building is for public use and contains the access ramp to the parking basements. The development elements necessary for the extraction of smoke from the floors below ground level and other elements for the identification of the building are also for public use.
