Sorigué’s companies specializing in waste management, Nordvert and Corporación CLD, participated as partners in the second edition of the International Forum called Waste in Progress, which was held in Girona on 21, 22 and 23 February. Various success stories for managing waste in tourist areas were presented at the event. Workshops and lectures examined collection models from cities around the world with recycling results higher than 60% and the performance of door-to-door waste management, which is implemented in various neighborhoods of many cities.

Waste in progress has allowed a variety of businesses involved in this market to meet and has allowed connections to be formed and debates to be held between the public and private sectors.

The event has also served as a showcase for various business innovation projects. Research centers, universities and businesses also presented awareness initiatives related to waste collection, management and treatment.
