The CLD Corporation,, a member of the Sorigué business group that specializes in municipal waste management, attended the First International Forum on Municipal Waste Management, held this month at the Palau de Fires in Girona.
 
The conference, which aspires to become an international benchmark event in this industry, made it possible for CLD to address a specialized audience - the technical and political personnel of municipal governments - and to become aware of corporate innovation projects, expand its network of contacts, and generate new business opportunities. 

Several success stories were presented at the conference in connection with waste collection models used in cities around the world, resulting in recycling rates of more than 60 per cent.
 
In addition, the fair provided a forum for the public and private sectors to connect, allowing interaction with several companies that specialize in the collection, management, and treatment of wastes, along with other related services.
