Acsa, Obras e Infraestructuras, S.A.U, a company in the Sorigué business group, is certified in the area of Social Responsibility
Sorigué’s chief executive officer, Ana Vallés, received the AENOR certificate for Social Responsibility based on the IQNet SR10 International Standard, recognizing Acsa, Obras e Infraestructuras, S.A.U as a socially responsible company committed to good governance and continuous improvement. The certification was delivered by Eva Subirá, director of AENOR in Catalonia.
This recognition certifies that the Construction, Services, and Technology company in the Sorigué group has correctly integrated social responsibility management into all its processes. IQNet SR10 is the first international standard for social responsibility management systems, and was developed by IQNet, the world’s largest certification network, whose Spanish member is AENOR.
“Obtaining this certification is a confirmation of our commitment, in place now for six decades, to respect our environment, but most of all it demonstrates our dedication as a business group to giving back to society,” stated Ana Vallés, Sorigué’s chief executive officer.
For Eva Subirá, AENOR’s director in Catalonia, “IQNet SR10 certification means that Acsa is fully and earnestly committed to Social Responsibility, that significant stakeholders are taken into account, and that this concept is integrated with other Management Systems such as those described in the ISO Standards. To date, 75 IQNet SR10 certificates have been granted to organizations in 16 countries.”
The awarding of this certificate reaffirms the importance that Sorigué places on sustainability, one of the pillars of our Strategic Plan, which is committed to sustainable growth through diversification, innovation, job creation, environmental stewardship, the development of talent, and giving back to society.
The group’s management aims to extend IQNet certification to its other member companies.
