Allocation of screens and sluices for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and the Seawater Desalination Plant (SDP) for the PROVISUR project in Lima
Design, production and supply of 7 automatic chain screens, 2 filter screens, 26 manual screens, 15 canal sluices and 17 wall sluices for desalination and wastewater treatment plants in Lima, Peru.
TEDAGUA S.A. has contracted the Sorigué company Coutex, which is specialized in hydraulic equipment, to supply equipment to produce drinking water by desalinating sea water and treating wastewater in a newly-built Seawater Desalination Plant (SDP) and a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) for the southern districts of Lima, Peru. The project, called “Provision of Sanitation Services for the Southern Districts” (PROVISUR in Spanish),
has been granted by the Peruvian State through the Sewage and Drinking Water Service in Lima (SEDAPAL in Spanish) and the Peruvian Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation. Its objective is to ensure the supply of drinking water to said districts all year-round, 24 hours a day, and to achieve a wastewater treatment that allows wastewater to be partially reused for watering parks and gardens, ensuring the environmental quality of its discharge into the sea, in accordance with international regulations.
