Sorigué handles maintenance for HVAC and hot water systems in administrative, social and cultural centres in Girona including the Police headquarters, Mercat del Lleó market, the Municipal Theatre and Antònia Adroher Library. 

The contract is worth over €370,000 per year and includes the supply of materials, supervision of the state of the boilers, air-conditioners, cooling and/or heating generators and solar collectors plus managing existing water sources, control and monitoring systems. 

The contract kicks off in January 2024 and runs until 2028. It is a milestone in the Sorigué group’s City division as it is the first time it has been entrusted with the maintenance of such key structures as the municipal buildings of Girona, a city with a population of over 100,000 people. 

It was chosen on the basis of criteria including its team’s professionalism, long track record in managing large buildings, its sustainable approach and the streamlining of its work with digital media. 

Sorigué in Girona 

The Sorigué group is gaining ground in Girona province through its involvement in a number of areas such as building projects, the water cycle and road asphalting. 

In Girona, it has put up a six-storey building for housing and business premises near La Devesa Park and is currently planning a new development in the Mas Quintana area; in Santa Coloma de Farners, in a temporary business association with the DAM Group it is managing the wastewater treatment plant with a flow of over 4,400 m3/day, and together with Rubau it has developed its own brand Neovia for the production of aggregates and roadway repair across the province.
