Sorigué attends conference on road maintenance innovation and digitalisation

Sorigué’s Conservation team moderated the “Leadership in innovation and digitalisation in public administration” panel discussion. 

Sorigué was at the technical conference on innovation and digitalisation in road maintenance hosted by the Association for Infrastructure Conservation and Operation (ACEX) and the Regional Government of Castilla y León on 29 May in Valladolid. 
 
The purpose of the conference was to share with public authorities and industry professionals the latest digital innovations which are being rolled out in road maintenance and upkeep. 

The group’s Conservation team took part in one of the sessions. Anna Leal, Head of Road Maintenance (COEX) at Sorigué, moderated the “Leadership in innovation and digitalisation in public administration” panel discussion at which public authorities outlined their strategic innovation and digitalisation plans and presented their work streams for making headway in digital transformation. 

The meeting was held in the auditorium of the Regional Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation and opened by the Regional Minister María González Corral. In her speech, the Minister underscored the importance of applying new technologies to road assets to ramp up the safety and sustainability of these infrastructures. 
 
Other industry leaders at the event included Serveo, Becsa, Construcciones y Obras Llorente, Alvac, Innovía, Sacyr Conservación, Grupo Elsamex and Acciona.
