The Agència de l’Habitatge de Catalunya (AHC) has once again awarded the adaptation and maintenance works for the various social housing groups managed in Lleida and Vallès Occidental (Barcelona) to Axer and Constraula, respectively, two companies from the Sorigué group.

The AHC is thus renewing its confidence in the business group to maintain its social housing, which is designed to cover the housing needs of family units of all kinds that are in dire need.

The contract includes the corresponding preventive and corrective maintenance of homes, ensuring that they are inhabitable. This is a special service as the teams at Sorigué work directly with the residents of the homes at all times.

The service, which was awarded in September, will be provided for a total of 12 months. The costs are €2,896,543.49 for the Lleida contract and €3,933,182 for the Vallés Occidental, and both will last for 12 months.

The maintenance and preservation works include maintenance and repairs of electrical and electronic equipment and facilities, plumbing, water and gas pipes, heating, air conditioning, sewage, pest control and water pressure systems.

Installations and Technology Specialist

Sorigué, through its Installations and Technology department, specialises in the provision of comprehensive maintenance (preventive, corrective, predictive and conductive) on all kinds of installations, whether they be facilities or buildings, with specialisations in various types of facilities and civil works.

Their work may also focus on periodic repairs or comprehensive renovations to update a building, adapt it to comply with regulations, expand it or change its purpose.

Some notable projects carried out include maintenance of the electricity, television and fibre optic systems at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalonia, renovation and preservation of public buildings in various districts of the city of Madrid, and comprehensive maintenance of eight Andalusian hospitals for the Alto Guadalquivir Healthcare Agency.
