The Sorigué fleet of vehicles receives the 2023 ‘Environmental Fleet’ award
The 179 vehicles used by Constraula, a company from the Espacios Urbanos group, are internationally recognised for their low-emission technology.
The Spanish Association of Automobile and Mobility Fleet Managers (AEGFA), with its over 2000 members, gives out awards that highlight good business practices and recognise efforts to promote sustainable transport.
Commitment to electric vehicles
For its eighth edition, the 2023 Gala de las Flotas singled out Constraula’s “Constantly evolving vehicle policy that prioritises the adoption of technology that is less harmful to the environment. As a result of this policy, barely 15% of the fleet uses diesel or petrol, with most of the vehicles being plug-in hybrids, GLP/GNC or hybrids.” Indeed, of the 179 vehicles that make up the company’s fleet, 49 are electric, 15 are hybrids and 5 are plug-in hybrids. It is also worth noting that 57% of the cars have been awarded the DGT ‘Environmental Badge’ and 27% have the ‘O’ label.
Various companies were also awarded in other categories, such as Tesla, Volkswagen, Renault, Heineken and Seville City Council.
In line with the Sorigué group’s financial, social and environmental sustainability guidelines, Constraula offers various services to cities, including urban and road maintenance, building and facility maintenance, new construction projects and urban renewal.
Constraula is a member of the Sorigué group, a benchmark company for over 60 years in sectors such as city services, the water cycle, infrastructure and equipment, renewable energy and construction. As part of its commitment to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals, the company offers solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of its projects and strives to develop projects with minimal environmental impact.
