Repair of the gabion wall on the N-260 roadway near Collada de Toses
Demolition of the old wall and construction of the new gabion wall at KP 145+560 on the N-260 roadway near Collada de Toses. The project included the demolition of the remains of the previous gabion wall, the removal of the collapsed material and the creation of access points. The new gabion wall was built from concrete, and anchors were added using a system of permanent bars up to 12 m long with repeated injection and arranged every 3 m transversely and in staggered formation.

The project included the demolition of the remains of the previous gabion wall, the removal of the collapsed material and the creation of access points at KP 145+560 on the N-260 roadway near Collada de Toses in the province of Girona. Execution of the project required temporary diversions and the replacement of asphalt from the demolished roadway.
The new gabion wall was built from concrete, and anchors were added using a system of permanent bars up to 12 m long with repeated injection and arranged every 3 m transversely and in staggered formation.
A dynamic mesh containment kit was installed at the top of the wall to prevent stones from falling.
Horizontal drains were installed with the aim of redirecting and draining any water that infiltrates the wall lining.
The works included the construction of a perimeter drain to redirect water from the Clot del Tacó stream.
Given the environmental value of the surroundings where this section of the N-260 is located, the face of the concrete wall was lined with thin Gaviarq gabion cages in order to better integrate it into the environment.
