Sorigué grows again by 7% in 2020, despite the impact of the pandemic

October 21, 2021

The group closed the 2020 fiscal year with 611 million euros in turnover, which represents a 7% increase compared to last year, replicating the group’s growth last year.

As a group committed to sustainable and responsible growth, Sorigué is encouraged by its financial management in 2020, with 611 million euros in consolidated sales. This figure represents a 7% increase compared to 2019, when the company registered 571 million euros in turnover and grew by 7% as well compared to 2018.

Another highlight from the 2020 balance sheet is a drop in net financial debt compared to last year, which is in large part due to the positive performance of receivables and the repayment of loans. Having its accounts in order is a testimony to the company’s financial health and shows it is in line with the forecasts of its Strategic Plan.

In a year marked by the pandemic, productivity was mostly affected due to it cutting back some of its production for a number of months. This is reflected in its 28.5 million euro EBITDA, a 15% drop compared to last year when it registered an EBITDA of 33.5 million euros. However, an increase in sales and accumulated equity over the past two years, representing 38.65% of the balance sheet total, show that the group is extremely financially sound.
