Sorigué participates in the "Infrastructures in Catalonia" forum
Sorigué’s CEO, Luis Villena, took part on Wednesday October 9 at the economic forum "Infrastructures in Catalonia, a success story. 30 years of results to think about the future, "which brought together more than 400 people from business and politics, including the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, and the Minister for Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Santi Vila.
In his speech, Villena pointed out the generational change in Sorigué as a first step on the road to face new challenges and opportunities. In this evolutionary process, the group is based on three strategic pillars: returning to society, people and innovation.
Villena explained that Sorigué believes in the "commitment to maximizing those infrastructures that are already made" as a form of economic and social return.
He also expressed the need to address the water cycle on a global basis, and highlighted Sorigué’s extensive experience in water infrastructure.
Finally, he mentioned the need to "not only be innovative with products but also in the working processes, looking for complementary activities and more efficient funding models".
In this forum, some of the most important infrastructure companies in Spain took part such as Aena, Abertis, Port of Barcelona, OHL, Acciona and Comsa-Emte, among others.
The meeting was held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, it was organized by the newspaper Expansion, and sponsored by the Santander bank.
