This June saw the entry into force of the new contract for the management of this facility, which provides a service to a population of over 60,000 people and treats a flow of 9,000 m³/day.
Sorigué has been awarded the contract for the management, operation and maintenance service of the Ejea de los Caballeros and Luna WWTPs in Zaragoza following the tender process launched by the Aragonese Water Institute.
The award allows them to continue operating these facilities in a joint venture together with DAM group, to serve a population of more than 60,000 people and treat a flow of more than 9,000 m³/day. The plant has a dehydration sludge treatment system and a deodorisation system in the WWTP itself.
The contract, which came into force on 15 June, has a maximum duration of 5 years and includes a series of actions to optimise the energy efficiency of the facilities and improve process control.
This service is in addition to the public works concession contract for the drafting of projects, construction and operation of the 08-C zone in Zaragoza.
