The second edition of the Fundación Exit eDuo project for social reintegration comes to a close
Internal mentors from Sorigué have participated for the first time in this newest edition, which has helped to increase our young participants' understanding of our business activity.
This June, the second edition of the eDuo project took place. It was organized jointly by Fundación Exit, Sorigué y Femarec at CLD, the business group’s waste management company. At the event, 13 young people received professional training on this subject.
Business mentors and service tutors have been included in this latest edition. Eight workers from Sorigué participated, helping to establish connections between the practical and theoretical aspects of training. This mentorship has also allowed these young individuals to achieve greater understanding of the group’s business activity.
The young participants received Professional Certificates in Waste Management. Furthermore, several students from the two editions of the project have obtained their first work contract at CLD since receiving this training.
The goal of the Fundación Exit eDuo project is to train young people who are at social risk, alternating attendance at an educational establishment with training with companies through an internship system.
In 2017, Fundación Exit and Sorigué carried out the first training session for the eDuo project at CLD. The two organizations have come together on other occasions to run the Coach project, which aims to improve the employability of 16-to-19 year olds through corporate volunteering.
