New work center in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat built using sustainable criteria
The new headquarters of the company specializing in managing the Group’s waste, Nordvert, meets energy criteria and high sustainability parameters.
The building, which houses the new headquarters of one of Sorigué's waste management companies, Nordvert, has been built in line with a series of sustainable criteria, as have the other work centers that the Group has built in recent years.
The new building, located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, is made up of two spaces, one for office use and the other for storage, distributed in an L shape. This layout generates an interior space that is used as a parking lot for trucks and light vehicles.
The building has obtained the triple A energy rating and the 3-leaf Green Seal certificate. The facade has used drywall construction techniques to reduce assembly time and construction waste. The materials used are low-maintenance and reduce the impact on the life cycle of the building.
The sloping roof incorporates polycarbonate strips to facilitate illumination with natural light and provides for the possibility of supporting solar and photovoltaic panels. The white finish seeks to reduce the heat island effect.
The interior finishes help to improve acoustic comfort with the addition of acoustic ceilings and absorbent flooring, and the lighting system has been designed with LED technology and dimmer systems to minimize energy consumption.
In addition, various technological systems have been incorporated that promote the efficient use of resources, such as presence and light sensors, opening control, optimization of the irrigation system in green areas, diffusers and adjustable water pushbuttons.
The new work center comes in addition to other facilities recently built by the Group that meet sustainability criteria, such as Sorigué’s new offices in Madrid and Tarragona.
