Ana Vallés, awarded the Lidera Prize by El Periódico de Catalunya
“The business world is increasingly represented by women, and our presence should serve as an example and an inspiration for future generations. It is important for us to work to be more visible, to be leaders in all professional fields and from all positions”, said Ana Vallés during the event.
At the ceremony, which brought together representatives from the business, economic and political world of Catalonia, awards were also given to Noel Alimentaria with the prize for business of the year; Girbau with the Digitaliza Prize; GPA Innova with the Innova Prize; Carinsa with the Projecta Prize; and Blue Box with the Inicia Prize.
The jury for this year’s awards was made up of Aitor Moll, CEO of Prensa Ibérica; Sergi Guillot, General Manager of Prensa Ibéria; Albert Sáez, Director of El Periódico; Fèlix Noguera; General Manager of El Periódico; Xavier Ventura, Territorial Business Director of Banc Sabadell; Pere Navarro, President of the Zona Franca Consortium; Damià Calvet, President of the Port of Barcelona; and Eva Borràs, Managing Director of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, among others.
The Business of the Year awards have become a landmark event on the Catalan socio-economic scene and highlight the efforts of the Catalan industrial fabric and its contribution.
