Sustainable Development Goals
In 2015, the UN approved the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, a commitment that seeks collaboration between governments, the private sector and civil society to achieve global goals.
The Agenda sets out 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Through Sorigué’s activities, we have we joined the initiative and we are involved in the scope of the following objectives:
Clean water and sanitation
The engineering division is working on innovation and the development of solutions for hydraulic works and infrastructures linked to the water cycle.
Decent work and economic growth
We create stable employment and we are committed to the development of people within the company. The workforce grows sustainably with the company.
Industry, innovation and infrastructure
As a company involved in industrial production and infrastructure construction and maintenance, we foster the culture of innovation as a basis for the development of R&D&I projects, which make it possible to obtain better, more efficient products with a lower environmental impact.
Sustainable cities and communities
Through our business lines, we offer solutions that meet the needs of the cities and communities where we operate. Through the foundation and the PLANTA project, we organize activities to generate and share knowledge.
Responsible consumption and production
80% of our business is accredited with environmental management certifications and we promote reducing waste and using recycled materials and water in our production activities.
Climate action
We promote the adoption of production strategies and the use of materials with a low environmental impact in all our activities. We have signed up to the voluntary agreement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions promoted by the Office for Climate Change at the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Partnerships for the goals
We seek the complicity of customers and suppliers with our action principles and we regularly collaborate with other companies and entities through agreements and sponsorships.
