With implementation of the Rapid Unit, Sorigué has managed to carry out both planned and emergency actions in order to keep public roadways in optimal condition. 

During these past three years, the Rapid Unit has fixed, for example, 4,437 m² of steel and 3,123 m² of asphalt. With these works, which include preventive and corrective maintenance of public roads, Sorigué wishes to provide the residents of Sant Just Desvern public spaces in better condition, giving priority to actions relating to safety: raised slabs or potholes. 

The Rapid Unit, comprised of different working groups (all which have a project manager, four workers, and a large-capacity van), is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so as to offer the best quality service.
