Sorigué is awarded the maintenance contract for the water network in the city of Córdoba

September 20, 2023

The group is beginning a 3-year contract with the Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Córdoba (EMACSA) to fully renovate and repair the city’s water treatment networks.

Sorigué has begun the comprehensive renovation, repair and maintenance service for the Empresa Municipal de Aguas de Córdoba (Emacsa) water treatment networks. Aside from the urgent and non-urgent actions required on the system, there are also operating and improvement works needed on the structure, which consists of 200,000 service connections, 1,800 km of supply pipelines and 2,000 km of sewers.

The initial contract duration is three years, and may be extended by another two.

Thanks to a dedicated workforce, including a team that is on call 365 days a year, the service is able to deal with all types of breakdowns and take care of service connection installations, as well as the maintenance of scuppers, manholes, spillways, delivery points and any other element linked to the sewerage network.

This contract also includes repairs and maintenance of the ornamental fountains in the city of Córdoba.

Furthermore, if the city’s drainage system needs to be extended or modified, the Sorigué team will also be responsible for these projects on the EMACSA facilities or networks.
